NYCWFF 2012

It's that time of the year! Summer is ending and New York City is coming alive again, kicking off with the uber-exuberant, foodie indulging, deliberately chaotic Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival October 11th - 14th, 2012. Celebrating its fifth year in the Big Apple, NYCWFF is the core of all things yummy in the city. Lead by Festival Director Lee Schrager the festival stems to outdo itself again this year with creative fresh events. (get it? apple...core....stem) #genius

New this year is Head of Plate: The International Culinary Center Creates Celebrated Dishes & Cocktails; Shake & Bake with Whoopi Goldberg, Art Smith and DJ Questlove; and Food Network's Next Iron Chef hosted by Alton Brown to name a few. There's also a host of DINNERS coming your way this year designed to please those with even the most sophisticated palates. Popular parties like Blue Moon Burger Bash hosted by Rachael Ray, Meatball Madness hosted by Giada De Laurentiis, SWEET hosted by Sandra Lee and Brunch with Paula Deen are still some of people's faves, but with a MENU OF EVENTS catering to different tastes, there's bound to be something for everyone's flavor. For those of you whom can't decide, just smorgasbord your way through the GRAND TASTING held on Saturday and Sunday where NYC's top restaurants will serve tastings, wine will pour, and Food Network Chefs will demonstrate their culinary talents.
