Let's face it, New York City in the Summer is a ghost town as people venture away in search for Fun in the Sun! But, after Labor Day a wave of New Yorkers emerge tanner and ready to shake-things-up for Fall and nothing gets the City's pulse racing again like the Food Network Wine & Food Festival. This year in particular promises to be bigger and better than ever with new events like Tacos & Tequila hosted by Bobby Flay, favorite events like Rachel Ray's Burger Bash, and trendy events like Carts in the Park with Andrew Zimmern.
The Food Network Wine & Food Festival takes over New York City October 7 - 11, 2010 and there is already a pulsating buzz on the sidewalks in anticipation of all the fabulous events. Here's some advice: Start fasting now so you can pack-on the pounds at the festival and get your tickets, they are selling out fast!
