Meatpacking District Improvement Association will host its 2nd Annual OPEN MARKET May 12, 2014, an evening celebrating the best of the Meatpacking District under one roof at Highline Stages. Hosts Diane von Furstenberg, Andrew Rosen and André Balazs will be joined by virtually all of the retail, restaurant, hospitality and cultural businesses in the neighborhood to present an exciting evening of food, fashion and fun. Bid on exclusive experiential shopping parties and trips from participanting brands at OPEN MARKET's silent auction.
100% of the proceeds go to the Meatpacking District Improvement Association (MPIA), the non-profit business alliance of the area, supporting the community through outreach, marketing, and a district-wide maintenance beautification program. The MPIA works to improve the visitor experience and unite the community, while making it the premier location for businesses to call home.
